What should a professional establish?
Ask which surfaces and absorbent layers were evaluated, how the boundary of wet material was determined and how completion of drying will be checked. EPA says heavily soaked materials should be discarded when they cannot be cleaned and dried; it does not assess a particular Inglewood wall from a website.
When does mold change a material decision?
EPA says porous carpet or ceiling tile may have to be discarded when moldy, and contaminated-water damage merits an experienced professional. This is not a remote mold diagnosis or a separate mold-service offer. A qualified provider should assess the source, materials and any health concern before promising salvage.
How should that appear in a proposal?
